The DAME Center is involved in a variety of research and development projects related to teacher quality enhancement, including the transfer of information systems technology to other teacher preparation institutions.
Primary goals
To demonstrate the feasibility of transforming individual databases within an institution into functioning components of a distributed database system by using the web portal system.
To participate with the EPSB in a development effort to use XML technology as a practical mechanism for moving data sets from one distributed database system to another.
To demonstrate how a distributed database and web portal system can be an important component of teacher preparation institutional management and accountability.
